Juan Grabois stated that Argentina "is in an informal state of siege" following his arrest.

Social leader Juan Grabois addressed his arrest after taking over the Juan Domingo Perón Institute last Saturday. The former presidential candidate attackedPatricia Bullrich and Javier Milei and stated that Argentina is "facing an informal state of siege" because the Constitution and the separation of powers were violated during his detention.

"Today, Cristina said something I loved: when these criminals are free, being inside is a sign of dignity. So I thank Patricia Bullrich. What happened is terrible," said the leader of the Frente Patria Grande, who revealed that "they consulted the judge, and three times he told them they couldn't evict or detain them, but that they had to establish a dialogue. They violated the Constitution and the separation of powers ."

In this same vein, he clarified that "the police treated him like a duke" and acknowledged that their work was compromising, but that they are not responsible for his arrest: "First of all, because they are human beings too. The working conditions they have in that horrific place called the Superintendency of Investigations are appalling. They are imprisoned there. They are very humble kids, twenty years old, who have just learned to use a gun, a terrible thing," he lamented.

Drawing a parallel with what happened, Juan Grabois recalled the last time he was detained in a police station under the same or similar conditions, which was in 2001, when Patricia Bullrich was Minister of Social Security: "It was on December 20, 2001. I went in at noon, and by afternoon there were already several dead. I saw kids fall the day they arrested me. But the detention was legal because it was a state of siege, at the disposal of the National Executive Branch. They have us under an informal state of siege. We are in a state of siege in Argentina ," he denounced.

In this regard, he recalled that the day after this incident, "there was no more government" and that "Patricia Bullrich was no longer a minister because she had fled in a helicopter. This is how this government will end. Metaphorically, the helicopter is a godsend for them . They will end up collapsing," the social leader said on C5N.
